How we collect

Job postings employers publish, read straight from their ATS.

Atlas reads the jobs employers publish on their applicant tracking systems and keeps each posting as it was published, with when it was first and last seen.

What is never sold

  • Sources that need a login, key or credential.
  • Sources reached through an anti-bot bypass service.
  • Partner or aggregator exchange feeds.
  • Sources on the staff block list.
  • Sources not yet classified.

Email addresses and phone numbers are removed from every text field before a job is sold.

Reading politely

  • The crawler slows down when a server slows down.
  • Each ATS vendor has a ceiling on how hard it is read.
  • By default it retries only when a server answers that it has had too many requests.

Each source is read on a daily schedule. The Status page will show how many were read on time.

What we do not collect

Atlas collects job postings. It does not collect candidates, applicants, or anything behind a candidate login.
