Frontline Hiring Signals

Who is hiring, where, and how long jobs stay open.

A signal report counts hiring activity per group, from the same jobs as the feeds, with the same criteria. One row per group, every day.

Group by

  • Brand
  • Brand × state
  • Brand × city
  • Occupational category × state, once category labels pass their accuracy check

What each row carries

  • Open jobs now
  • New jobs in the last 7 and 30 days
  • Closed jobs in the last 7 and 30 days
  • Number of cities hiring
  • Median days open of jobs closed in the last 30 days
  • Share of open jobs stating pay
  • Median stated hourly pay and median stated annual pay, where pay is stated
  • The BLS median wage for the occupation and state, where the occupation is known

A group backed by fewer than 5 jobs shows its counts but not its medians.

Delivery and history

Reports are generated daily by 06:00 US Eastern as CSV and JSON, at a private link under the same rules as feeds: a token you can rotate, 100 downloads a file a day, and the last 7 daily files kept.

Each report keeps its daily history. Download the time series from the first date Atlas holds the data, which can be earlier than the report itself. Days before a metric's history begins are blank, not zero.
